Maynilad Water Services Inc.

Maynilad sustained its participation in DepEd’s Brigada Eskwela program by donating hygiene and sanitation supplies to 14 DepEd Schools Division Offices in the West Zone. In light of the ongoing pandemic, DepEd has retooled the program to allow students to pursue learning in spite of government-set health and safety protocols. Among the priority needs that DepEd has listed are W.a.S.H. (water, sanitation and hygiene) items, which are interventions that Maynilad has been providing for years. Maynilad tapped its social enterprises, Green Badge and Kapwa, to produce the hygiene and sanitation supplies for the 14 school districts. 5,300-pcs of bottled water were also provided to Brigada Eskwela volunteers in select schools.
