BARMM CRESCENT: CRESCENT Project: Creating REsponsible, Sustainable and Competitive ENTerprises in the BARMM Agri-business sector

The main topic of the project is BARMM MSME Development Initiative. ECCP will build on the current peace and order situation in the BARMM region and will work towards sustaining it. It will use this situation as a jumping board for engaging BARMM stakeholders to a private sector led initiative of strengthening the role and capacity of MSMEs to be a significant driver for economic growth, ECCP will help build the capacity of MSMEs in various sectors to deliver more competitive products/services and to work together in order to achieve synergy through collective action with multi-stakeholder partners. In line with the priorities of KAS, the project will engage the political/government, economic/business, scientific/academic and civil society actors on a discussion/debate on building the stronger socio-economic development prospects of the Bangsamoro region on the basis of development and regulatory principles that can support BARMM MSME business growth.
