Brief Description
In a bid to fight child malnutrition, the Rotary Club of Makati Central (RCMC) and The Manila Hotel, in partnership with the Rotary District 3830, and in collaboration with the Lions Club, Kiwanis, Jaycees, World Vision and the Philippine League of Government Midwives will undertake a yearly nationwide nutrition intervention program for Filipino mother and child during the latter’s first 1,000 days of life. This is in support of the Philippine Plan of Action for Nutrition (PPAN) being spearheaded by the National Nutrition Council (NNC), an attached agency of the Department of Health.
