This project entitled Nurturing a Tree, Sustaining Disaster-Resilient Farming Communities aims to contribute to the overall sustainability of farming communities living within and surrounding the Upper Marikina River Basin Protected Landscape or Marikina Watershed. In the immediate future, this project will ensure availability and accessibility of food, and provision of continued source of income and other forms of livelihood. In the long run, this project will contribute to moderate the effects of climate change, increase and protect local biodiversity, and ensure disaster-resilient communities.
