Value-adding training and support for farmers

FH facilitates value-adding training for its supported farming groups so they can gain an additional source of income. Learning from resource speakers from academic institutions and Municipal Agriculture Offices, farmers are able to process crops such as cassava, bananas, sweet potato, and rice into value-added products such as chips, coffee, and other snacks. FH also connects them with government partners such as the Department of Trade and Industry, training them on branding and packaging so the farmers can bring their products to the market.
