Brief Description
During the Mount Pinatubo eruption in 1991, one of the priority needs in the evacuation centers where victims of the volcanic eruption were placed was the health and well-being of thousands of children evacuees. Government and non-government agencies did their best to provide relief and comfort to these children and their families, but looking after their welfare in a strange and unfamiliar environment was the pressing challenge. Aware of the predicament, the organization came up with Tulong Bata which is an integrated service project for children evacuees that takes care not only of their physical needs but also their mental, social, recreational, economic, and spiritual well-being.
