Brief Description

Uplifts the welfare of the indigenous peoples/cultural communities within and around Mt. Apo Natural Park through the formulation and implementation of a well-rounded, responsive and sustained tribal upliftment activities. It also particularly supports the strengthening of CTCCDI (with 15 tribal leaders) and other tribal leaders/organizations; fomulation of Indigenous Political Structure of the Obo-Manobo tribe; maintenance of School of Living Tradition and and development of IP Youth organizations in the area of responsibility (AOR). Thr pogram has been ongoing since 1993 and has benefitted the follow so far: 127 IP highs schools in 2 IPEd school recipient 5 Beneficiaries of Doctoral Dissertation 5 Beneficiaries of Thesis Assistance 383 IP pupils in 8 day care centers 1,060 total Adult Literacy graduates (77% or 813 from Magpet,Cotabato, 22% or 236 from Kidapawan City and 1% or 11 from Makilala, Cotabato)
