The project contributed to strengthening public financial management for children (PF4C) and address public financial management bottlenecks at the local level. The project developed a systematic approach to identify budget allocation and expenditures for programmes, services and results for children at the subnational level (with gender, children with disabilities and poverty situation disaggregation). It also strengthened the capacity of the LGUs on budget analysis, expenditure monitoring and reporting, and local planning and budgeting for children.
