Strengthening Liguasan Marsh farmers’ resiliency to climate change and disaster impacts

Brief Description

The project’s overall objective is that the resilience towards climate-related risks and disasters of vulnerable farmers in climate-affected areas of Liguasan Marsh in Cotabato is increased. Strategies towards this include capacity building on climate-smart agriculture (CSA) and community-based disaster risk management (CBDRM) and the formation of citizen voice and action (CVA) groups. Project activities also included capacity building on climate resiliency, including training workshops on climate risk assessment, contingency planning, and review/enhancement of barangay level disaster risk and management training and planning workshops.
