Annual Physics Conference

Samahang Pisika ng Pilipinas, Inc. (SPP)

The annual Physics conference by SPP helps achieve sustainable development goals (SDGs) by fostering a scientific culture of scholarly reporting and objective discussion of scientific work by physicists and physics educators in the Philippines. The conference disseminates recent physics research results from local and international research laboratories and groups, covering wide range of SDGs (typically includes 3,4,6,7, and 9). It also provides a platform for participants to remain updated with the latest physics developments, promotes continuous learning and skill development especially in our industry and education related workshops. Additionally, the conference enables attendees to establish and develop a national and international network fostering partnerships (SDG 17). Lastly, the conference serves as a training ground for students, promoting skill development enhancing Philippine's manpower capability. Overall, the SPP conference plays an essential role in advancing scientific knowledge and promoting education and skill development, contributing to the achievement of SDGs in the Philippines.
