Preparation of the Bacnotan Localization Roadmap for the SDGs (and the subsequent utilization of the roadmap in the preparation of the Executive-Legislative Agenda of the Municipality)

Local governments play a critical role in achieving the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development. The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), which have 17 and 169 targets, are relevant to the mandates of local governments. In this context, the Municipal Government of Bacnotan has demonstrated its intent and commitment to contribute to the SDGs by localizing them through the development of the Municipality of Bacnotan Policy and Development Roadmap for the SDGs. This roadmap demonstrates the Municipal Government's commitment, led by its local chief executive, to continue building on the successes of previous initiatives and laying the groundwork for more sustainable development in the Municipality of Bacnotan.
