Through the project, extraterritorial applications of trafficking prosecution and support for trafficked OFWs abroad are enacted in the Expanded Anti-Trafficking in Persons and Department of Migrant Workers Acts respectively; and the Coalition Against the Trafficking of OFWs (CAT-OFWs) was established, consisting of 27 affiliate organizations from among civil society organizations, grassroots organizations at the local level, non-government organizations, private sector groups, and OFW advocates here and abroad.
