Brief Description
The goal of the project is to reduce plastic pollution of the 2 coastal Municipalities and 1 city of the Province of La Union through the collective participation of community stakeholders in the sustainable management of plastic waste. The municipalities of Bauang and San Juan and the city of San Fernando are considered hot spots for tourism because of its beautiful shorelines good for surfing and other water activities; thus, increased waste generation is expected.
