Brief Description
An MoU has been signed between the GRI and the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (March 2022) to commence a long-term collaboration to extend the reach of sustainability to the export traders’ enterprises and MSMEs in the Philippines. A Sustainability Forum co-organized with PEZA was held last October 28th 2022 with the theme, Trade and Sustainable Development – Race to the Top, promoting the partnership with GRI and bringing together an audience representing various industries geared towards the promotion of the role of sustainability in export strategy and policy, and the development of sustainability reporting guidelines for the export traders industry, and capacity building initiatives for the utilization of this output will also be included. Following this is the development of the sustainability reporting guideline for the export-oriented enterprises and the delivery of the capacity building workshops for these enterprises
