One Western Visayas Youth Leaders Presummit and Summit Meetings

The Western Visayas Youth Leadership Summit gathered young individuals from various organizations in Region VI to collaboratively develop the Western Visayas Youth Agenda 2022-2025. Six committees were formed to tackle the six most critical concerns that the Western Visayan youth had identified during a series of presummit consultations. The outcomes of the summit include a narrative report, which presents the state of Western Visayas from the perspective of the youth, and a draft of the youth agenda that will serve as a reference for the coalition in programming and partnerships until 2025. This initiative demonstrates the significant impact that young people can make when given the opportunity to participate in decision-making processes.
