LMTP 1-1 MW Solar Power Farm

The second solar power project is the La Mesa Treatment Plant (LMTP) 1 - 1 MW Solar Panel, connected to the Motor Control Center (MCC) at the Main Electrical Room. The solar power generated will reduce the power consumption of Water Treatment Plant 1 (excluding the Sludge Treatment Facility (STF)) by approximately 30% per day. In addition, the solar plant can also be used to power the south sedimentation and filter basin only, as well as other areas that have been energized by the new MCC including the West and East buildings. It became operational in April 2022.
