Keitech is a multi-awarded technical-vocational training institute that provides full scholarship and employment placement support for marginalized but deserving students. Established by EDC in partnership with the Kananga LGU and Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA), its mission is to enable qualified youth from the poorest of the poor to acquire the top skills that are locally and globally in-demand to address the high poverty incidence and unemployment rate in Leyte. Since its establishment, all the graduates are 100% TESDA certified. EDC partnered with organizations for the employment of its graduates. The employment rate is 90% on the average. The balance of 4% changed plans and did not continue the their studies. Thus, all graduates have been employed.
