10 community gardens from Caloocan and Valenzuela are beneficiaries of Maynilad’s 2022  urban gardening campaign. Each commmunity garden received vertical garden frames, soil, seedlings, and other gardening supplies. Meanwhile, Maynilad sustained its partnership with MPIF for Bayan Tanim, which also advocates sustainable food security among underprivileged communities through backyard gardening. This project aims to encourage families to become self sufficient and responsible for their own food security.
