Family Academy

Family Academy is an program embedded in the Transform program working specifically with families having children under six years old. Prior to the beginning of the program, ICM identifies and trains volunteer education paraprofessionals (called Family Academy coaches) to deliver weekly sessions with participating families to develop children's skills in reading and counting while building parents' / guardians' abilities for facilitating play-oriented learning with children. To date, nearly 10,000 children have completed the Family Academy program.
