Brief Description
The project, RISE CSO LGU attempts to address these concerns, using the learning and insights from its previous projects, with the aim of improving the public services to the most marginalized through participatory governance, aligned with the participatory governance policies, and reinforce their application among LGUs in the target areas. The project aims to accomplish three major results: 1) increased delivery of basic services arising from CSO-LGU participatory governance through advocacy towards decision-makers in the target areas; 2) increased number of LGUs and CSOs institutionalizing participatory governance and 3) increased number of CSOs-LGUs initiating agreements for resource generation and delivery of basic services in the target areas as well through combined advocacy with other CSO networks.
