Brief Description
Provides scholarship grants for senior high school and collegiate level (currently with 22 scholars) to qualified and deserving IP students within and around Mt. Apo Natural Park. In addition to financial support, scholars are also supervised, monitored and provided counseling services. Integrated into their scholarships, scholars are also strengthened about their culture, traditions and values, and as stewards of the environment. In addition, the EDP also strengthens the MAFI-created organizations among scholars, parents and alumni for them to be functional bodies and relevant to the continuity of the educational development program of the foundation. The program has been on-going since 1993, and so far has the following beneficiairies: 208 Graduates of College 15 Graduates of Senior High School 95 Graduates of Tech-Voc 2 Graduates of Law 6 Graduates of Masters of Education 7,060 students in 36 Public High School beneficiaries for medical and accident assistance 32 volunteers now acquired permanent DepEd position
