Daloy Dunong is the flagship multi-award-winning W.A.S.H. education program of Maynilad. Daloy Dunong has been teaching lifeskills like handwashing to the youth even before such habits became survival skills in the time of COVID19. This time however, Maynilad had to overcome pandemic limitations such as the prohibition on mass gatherings in order to implement Daloy Dunong and sustain the WASH education needs of target sectors. Daloy Dunong Online is designed to be a trainors’ training on creative techniques to teach W.A.S.H. concepts. It is a multi-faceted WASH education initiative that aims to to train and inspire educators to employ tools such as storytelling, music, theater and other creative techniques to fully engage students in teaching W.A.S.H. concepts. The speakers also discussed the different water, health and environmental challenges that confront us in this time of pandemic.
